What is Project Back on Track?

Project Back on Track is a 42-week journey offering hands-on learning and personal growth. This initiative empowers over 160 youth at risk and job seekers with essential skills for the automotive, mechanical, and engineering sectors.

Guided by experts, students aged 15 to 18 undertake a Cert II in Automotive Vocational Preparation or Cert I, II, or III in Engineering. They transform a 2002 BMW into a high-performance vehicle, applying theoretical knowledge through activities like engine teardowns and fabrication.

The project emphasizes teamwork, communication, and resilience while connecting students with industry professionals. It’s a transformative experience fostering lifelong learning and career success in the automotive and engineering industries.
